Janice Sue Tucker, 59, of Oskaloosa, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at her home in Oskaloosa. She was born May 7, 1952, at Oskaloosa the daughter of Carter and Janet Godfrey Tucker. She graduated from the Oskaloosa High School with the class of 1970. Janice was a lifelong resident of Oskaloosa and has been employed by Wal-Mart for the past many years.
She is survived by her brother and his wife Robert and Jeanne Tucker of Coppell Texas; a nephew: Derek Tucker of Coppell, Texas, and a niece: Alexis Tucker of New Orleans, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister: Bonnie Tucker.
As was her wish her body has been cremated. Visitation will begin Tuesday morning after 10 a.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel and the family will be at the funeral chapel on Tuesday evening from 5—7 to greet friends and relatives. No memorial service is planned.
